Childhood is one of the most sublime connotations that carry within it weakness, and the child is pure and clean, deriving his purity and innocence from his inability to ward off dangers from him, and childhood is one of the most dangerous stages of a person’s life and the greatest in shaping the individual’s personality, and for all these reasons, the child must be covered by special care that confirms his rights, protects him, works to preserve him and looks after his affairs. International treaties, constitutions and internal laws of countries have been keen to emphasize the protection of children’s rights, including the Constitution of the State of Kuwait and its internal laws. In this study, we will try to answer the following questions: –
What are the foundations and controls of constitutional and legal protection of childhood in the State of Kuwait?
What are the rights that the Kuwaiti legislator has guaranteed to childhood and youth?
Are there contemporary laws that mimic the transformations, social issues and technological development in Kuwaiti society and the extent of their success?
What are the methods and legal controls that the state has put in place to protect childhood from the dangers of social media?
